What was I thinking, putting all this time and energy in promoting this crazy new company.

You know what I'm thinking?

The people behind AGLOCO are putting all revenue in their own pockets. Who's gonna prove them otherwise? Exactly, no one. If I were you, I wouldn't believe a single word they say about trying to maintain a positive balance and a sustainable business. Its all crap.

Its all in their interest, not yours.

Ofcourse the loyal followers remain strong, but they are just the kind that are afraid to face reality, and they would eat crap to prove you otherwise. A terrible weakness of man kind.

The fiction that is called agloco.

Even if they start paying, it will be ridiculously low.

How can they not pay us now, but when they have a positive balance, for all the hours that are collected throughout many months or years? It makes no sense at all.

AGLOCO deserves some serious amount of negative publicity.

Oops!!! Where's My Cool Template?

I kind of screwed up my custom designed template by installing a new one. Now I lost all of my widgets from directories and such and installing a new templates messes the whole template up even further.

Great, the end of my blog, I can't possibly know where all of those widgets came from. How bad can it get huh?

Another 'Get Paid To Surf The Internet' Program

This might sound a little strange, but before Agloco I had never participated in another get paid to surf the Internet program, until today. The program I walked into today is actually more than 5 years old, and functions similar to Agloco, only a little more complicated. You sign up, download their ad bar and start surfing the Internet.

What makes it different is that you need to sign up for special offers at the website in order to create a pay rate. When you're surfing with their ad bar you earn about 600 points per active hour and the pay rate is per 1000 points. When you don't sign up for any offer(s) at the website, your pay rate is $0,01 per 1000 points, but when you sign up for a couple of offers each month, lets 6 a month, your pay rate is $1,00 per 1000 points. You can easily collect 50000 points a month on your own, which brings you at a total of $50,- a month, which is the maximum for you individually.

Here's the beauty of it. There's not 5 levels of referrals, but 8!!! And ofcourse you'll earn points for your referrals. Imagine the income possibility, its endless. The website might look a little crappy, but they have been successfull for a long time, thats something you can't say for the Agloco guys with their two years and now this sorry excuse for a company.

If I were you, I would sign up for this website, and focus on that. Just read through it, study it, and think about it. You might be completely glued to Agloco, but that is because they made you dependend by promising gold and giving you crap. Don't be fooled by appearance.

AGLOCO Says Viewbar Will Be Released

This morning I visited the official AGLOCO blog to see if there was any news on the Viewbar release, since it has been so long. To be honest, I was a little surprised with what I found there, even though it might be another attempt to spread hope.

This is what they said, "If the transfer goes smoothly, the first download emails will be going out Monday morning California time (early Tuesday in Asia)."

I can only say... may this be true. It might not be to late after all. They have decided to release the Viewbar with only part of the ad servers in working order, but thats fine, better than nothing.

I'm curious about how many people in my network will become active, and so will all AGLOCO members. It has been debated quite a bit, because that is what we've worked so hard for all those months.

The constant delays have taken so much from us, some might not even imagine how much. I do though... Lets hope the upcoming months will make up for the losses. AGLOCO has a lot to do to clear their name, thats for certain.

Viewbar Is Coming

Although I always stay very realistic and sober about things, I do keep my hopes up for a happy ending or beginning in this case.

There's not much recent news, but I think we can all agree that the release of the Viewbar software is getting very close. We've all gained more referrals in our networks, which is good, and we've all gained some sort of a short fuse, which is not so good. All those delays can get quite annoying.

So, I just want to say, "Don't turn back after all those miles of walking, its not worth it". It reminds me of a joke we have here in the Netherlands.

We came a long way, and all we can hope for is that the road ahead will be long to. That was not the joke, don't worry. I admit Agloco has been a little sloppy with their estimates and some other things, but let's see what happends the next few days.

The last two months I have been extremely active in promoting Agloco, and as of today I can say for sure that it takes a lot more than ‘Make money with Agloco’, or, ‘Get paid for your online time’ to convince the unknowing and often skeptical crowd.

I have been on all sorts of networks and communities, and the thing I keep hearing is, “This is a scam!”, “You’re a scammer! Etc. No matter what I tell these people, it doesn’t change their minds. Why? Because money is involved. I know this for a fact now, and to be honest, I understand. There’s so much garbage on the Internet about online money making that most people have a very stereotypical view of promoters like us. There’s not much trust left.

Agloco?

The reason I write this post is because Agloco might need to adjust their angle a little about what they do exactly. Personally I think the Agloco advertising psychology is a bit to targeted at the dollar signs instead of actual value. Of course Agloco can draw people in with, “Get paid for your online time”, “own the Internet”. They might even attract 20 or 30 million people, but that’s still a fraction of the crowd that could benefit from Agloco the most, I can’t say this enough. Agloco has a genuine discount shopping service that could be of use to the entire world of online shoppers, but none of them are or will be able to understand this without proper promotional content.

Facts And Truth Can Have A More Calming Effect

If you Agloco promoters need another angle of promotion to maybe a whole other crowd, emphasize the discount shopping aspect instead of money making only. Don’t lie, don’t leave things out, just tell the truth.

Agloco Can Mean Something To You If You Are Looking For Discount Products!

Combine the forces of the revenue sharing concept and discount shopping!

I have discovered that if you are complete about what Agloco is, people will listen. If you keep mentioning the money making concept only, success rates will be at least 50% of what they could be. I had to find out the hard way, I have been called very bad names for mentioning Agloco. I understand perfectly what made AllAdvantage.com die, maybe the .com bubble burst, but certainly the fact that everyone was to busy making their hours. It’s a cold hard truth, but one that should be learned from.

Agloco is wonderful company, I completely back it up. As a reader of my post, I will give you something to work with, something new, something even I still have to integrate into some of my promotions.

Ok, so first we have to get our priorities straight. Do we choose the easy road of finding money leeches only or are we targeting a wider and possibly more difficult audience. Well, you know the easy road, I will focus on the wider audience. The ones that can’t be convinced with, “Own The Internet” or “Get Paid For Your Online Time”.

Like I said before, truth can have a calming effect if it doesn’t only include money. Why do I say it like that? Because Internet and money making don’t go together very well in pure form. Why? Because the Internet is an anonymous medium that many have abused to its limits. Thus, we are obligated to mention not only the income aspect, but also something that doesn’t sound like you’re about to scam someone into another program that promises you the world.

So to be clear, it doesn’t matter that you mention money, but wrap it up in something that takes actual shape. Instead of just informing them that companies spend billions a year on advertising and that you can get a piece of it, I tell them why and how in a very short little sentence. It sound professional and makes Agloco seem a lot more credible:

Share in advertising revenue by being a potential customer, at no cost and without obligations.

After that, explain them carefully that companies which advertise, pay an advertising agency to distribute their advertisements. Don’t start throwing with large sums of money, it scares most people away, be subtle about it. Like this:

Questions And Uncertainty

I feel I have to dedicate this post to a couple of pressing matters regarding questions and uncertainties that surround Agloco. Although I am an active member which puts a lot of time, energy, effort and even funds into increasing my network's value and that of Agloco in general, I still try to keep a neutral standpoint.

What keeps us all busy at the moment is, "When will the Viewbar be released?". I have to admit, it certainly is quite a mystery. One thing that is for certain is that we will not see the Viewbar the first half of March. Why? I have no idea, but this is what an Agloco official said. Lets just wait this out with patience, because Agloco would really destroy its credibility when they keep postponing the release date. Its really no big deal, because they can't keep it from releasing forever. I'm very loose when it comes to release dates, because of other stuff that I have been busy with in the past. It just happends, relax.

Another pressing matter is the one surrounding referral allocation. Many members are worried about referral allocations that might go wrong. This subject certainly asks for more attention, I have to agree. Agloco should not be sloppy with these kind of things, but then again, I don't know if they are, because we have no way of checking what goes wrong exactly. From my own experience I have not had a real problem signing up people. As long as they sign up directly when they have clicked on my referral link without browsing the Agloco website, everything is just fine. I can't really give advice about what to do, but if you know exactly 100% for sure that the person you referred has signed up immediately after clicking your referral link, without browsing the Agloco website, and that person is not registered in your network, you should definitely contact Agloco with a 100% guarantee that something is wrong. Thats all I can say about this. I've tested it myself, and it worked every time.

The last thing and probably something that can give you quite a strong feeling of powerlessness,is contacting and informing your referrals. Now, this is an interesting subject. An Agloco official said that this will be possible when the Viewbar is released, and I'm curious in what ways. Personally I'm not that high demanding when its about recruiting my network, because everyone should be responsible for their own direct referrals. You can't be carrying the weight of your entire network on your shoulders, and it would also mess up Agloco pretty bad. Imagine signing up under someone and you receive tons of email or messages from people in your upline, its not doable. When its limited to only direct referrals, it should be a clean system with no double or multiple messages about the same thing. I am certainly looking forward to sending my directs a wake up message, because I have the idea that most of em are sleeping. This will certainly be something to look out for, and I think most of you will agree.

Ok people, I hope there's some good energy for you to draw from in this post, because we can all use a little light at the end of the tunnel. My message and advice is, stop worrying so much, its not good for the heart. You're not alone in this and don't forget the bright side of Agloco, its much bigger than you might consider it sometimes when all things seem lost.

There are not many actualities on Agloco lately, except new Alexa and Google statistics. This calls for one of my own actualities that not many Agloco members are aware of, but that should not be forgotten.

I know it can be tough to get referrals, and I also know Agloco does not make it easy for you to track your ad campaigns and check if you got credit for a particular referral. However, that should be the least of your concerns, because if Agloco does not attract the right crowd when the 'money makers' storm is over, there won't be any revenue to profit from. I don't like to say this, but I feel I have to, because I know a thing or two about advertising revenue, and advertisers don't like to throw their money into a black hole.

Don't feel discouraged by this though, just don't forget the shopping crowd that is all around you. Actually 90% of search engine traffic are buying Internet users. When you promote Agloco, why not mention the discount shopping feature of the Viewbar? That is what the Viewbar is all about right? Don't get to caught up on the few dollars those referrals can make you, if there's a whole other crowd that can bring a heavenly value to Agloco's community. Mention this once or twice when you're promoting your network, or do a blog post on it. Not all people are shy to buy a product online, and its up to you which crowd you target your blogposts at. See the big picture, not the small temporary success Agloco can bring you.

I really thought this through you know, because as an Agloco member I've put significant funds into advertising because I believe in the potential of Agloco. However, since were responsible for 90%+ of Agloco's traffic, we should take responsibility and stand for our endeavor! Now, you probably think, "stop talking and start acting". So I did. I've created a website targeted at the discount shopping crowd that floods the search engines daily. Its not a niche that is unexplored, so I will put all my efforts in making it a success.

I'm dead serious about this, else I wouldn't have spend countless hours on making this possible. So to all my fellow Agloco members, "Take responsibility, and don't forget what the Viewbar is really about". From my perspective Agloco is about being a potential shopper/buyer.

1000 signups!

Today is a great day, because I've reached 1000 signups. I regret not being there when it all started in november 2006, instead I learned about Agloco mid january. I've missed out on many signups, but I did my very best to catch up a little.

Most of my referral network consists of direct referrals, and not of the other 4 levels. For one, I haven't referred succesfull bloggers and webmasters that happen to have the resources to refer a lot of people themselves, which creates large networks especially for the one who referred the person in question. However, I consider the indirect referrals as a bonus, and I'm sure the future will bring a lot more.

I Have To Get This Out Of My System Guys

I have pretty much tried every free money making opportunity the Internet has to offer, at least all kinds of money making oppertunities. Because I dove right into Agloco the moment I discovered it(way to late), I didn't realise completely what I had found.

Agloco offers so much more than only fun of creating a downline and earning from it. Besides money it offers a part of the company, exciting times seeing Agloco become succesful, seeing the entire Internet mobilize its resources to build their network, watching us making Agloco to a success, and who knows what more fun we will all have. All of these aspects offer great potential on more planes. Who actually owns free shares in a starting company that has the potential to shake the Internet on its foundations? Exactly! You probably don't. At least not yet. I think most Internet users don't have a clue about the potential. I keep saying potential, but I'm serious about this.

Even the people who just use Agloco, they can earn 5 shares a month just for having the Viewbar active for a couple of hours, doing nothing. Imagine that times 12, that's 60 shares! Now imagine the active referrers, the people who are spending most of their time and resources on building their network, does anyone even consider what this could mean in about two years when the membercount has exponentially exploded??

It's 1:00 AM here, and I'm still writing. Somehow I just know I need to make this message clear.

Agloco's succes is up to us!

If you're not a member of Agloco yet, believe me when I say, "Sign up when there's nothing to lose, and possibly only very much to gain". I always notice how people can be offended if you try to promote something, and I must say I understand. In most cases promoting something requires something from someone, and that person requires something from someone, to get something etc. But with Agloco something is different. I look at it as a service that all people worldwide can use. If you tell people they could be rewarded for using the Internet, you're not out to take something from them. You're profiting from them, but not taking something from them, and that is what convinced me to put effort in promoting Agloco. From my perspective this is the reason why Agloco has potential to grow into all corners of the Internet user world. Many people don't mind an extra buck every month, and certainly not the ones that need it a lot.

The last few days I've been looking for good advertising oppertunities on the Internet, and I must say I'm pretty impressed with what Agloco is accomplishing. Everywhere I look there are long waitinglines of sometimes months for Agloco. People are actually investing lots of money in advertising, and that means people see a business opportunity here. I also have purchased all kinds of advertising for a couple of hundred dollars. I don't want to miss this, even when it goes wrong, I still feel satisfied about trying.

This new Internet company has created quite a fuss the last few months, everywhere you look someone is promoting Agloco. Although the Agloco Viewbar is not available yet and no one is making money at this time, there's still not much to loose, and possibly only much to gain. Many people are busy building their referral networks to cash in on more revenue paid by Agloco's advertising partners and/or converted hours into shares that will be available for free during the beginning. It is considered quite the opportunity for many to finally get a piece of something worth the effort while it is still in its starting fase. I for one want to own some shares, just to see what will happen after a year or two. So good reasons to join now would be:

There's not much to loose.
Referring a few people shouldn't be to difficult.
You don't need much (effort) to get a piece of the action.

Simmons Report On Agloco

The Simmons report states:

The following analysis is centered around the amount of personal value an Agloco user could get, with a special focus on a user who is actively referring new users to Agloco. Material used included the Agloco website (membership agreement, privacy policy, FAQs and general information pages). Management Interviews, critical blog postings concerning Agloco, internet advertising and commerce data, valuations of other Internet communities and the business model economics of Google, Yahoo, MySpace, YouTube, etc.

The valuation conclusions are based on Agloco reaching two million users in a two year time span (which will be much more I think):

A user who has no referrals should receive ownership in Agloco worth on average about $150,-. (plus monthly cash distributions).
The average value of an Agloco user's referral network should be $30,- each in ownership shares plus the referrer's share of monthly cash distributions.
The average Agloco direct referral should be worth in excess of $3,000 each (taken into account that the extended referrals are 100).
The analysis also shows a range of monthly cash distributions of between $5,- and $15,- a month per user.
The Agloco business model look theoretically sound - (assuming they get to a decent size quickly - at least 500,000 users within nine months to a year).

This all sounds very promising, especially because this valuation was written December 9th, 2006. I think the network has grown to around 500,000 users, if not many more.

Let the referrals do all the work? I don't think so.

There are Agloco members that have huge referral networks, some of more than 10000 referrals. You can imagine someone with a network like that thinks, "No Viewbar and Internet surfing for me". Agloco has anticipated that problem by putting in some groundrules. You will have to surf yourself in order to benefit from your referrals. If the maximum payable hours is 5, and you surf two and a half hours a month, you will only receive 50% of the income your referral generate for you. This only counts when your referrals surf 100% of the hours themselves. I think this is a fair system, since we will not be paid to sit on our asses. What do you think?

More Members = More Revenue

At the moment Agloco's member database is expanding rapidly, without the Viewbar being active or available. There's a reason for it, because the more members Agloco has the more interesting they will become for big advertisers. This means that Agloco's members will be better compensated for Viewbar usage. For this reason members who help build to the Agloco Network are rewarded by receiving a share of what people in their referral network earn. Are you an active referrer or not, or do you have a different view on this matter, feel free to post your story.

Everyone benefits, Not Only The Referrers

To many it might seem that referring other people is the only way to get a piece of the cake. Part of that view is true ofcourse, but the other part of the cake focusses on the individual member that is compensated for using the viewbar and additionally making purchases. When a purchase is made from any of Agloco's partners, revenue is made by Agloco. Eventually a share of that revenue will go directly into the member's account in addition to the income that is made for using the Viewbar. Will this attract users that do not have the means to create a referral network? What is your opinion?

The Agloco Fiction

I had never heard of Agloco before a week ago, but somehow I regret finding out so late. For the ones who have never heard of it before either, it currently is the number one hype amongst the Internet users who try to make some money online. It got my attention because of the fact that it does not require money from other Internet users to make money primarily. All of the other online money making garbage that I've seen in my years on the Internet requires either, your money, extensive lies and deception, or more of your money.

The concept of Agloco includes that you get paid by advertisers who can show their ads on your screen through a little bar at the bottom of your browser while you surf the Internet , called the ViewBar (Can be turned on and off), so the money comes from third parties, which is good! The first debate that hit the Internet with force was, "Is this considered spyware or not?", entire online wars have been fought over this subject. Personally, I don't care. Why? Because it doesn't matter if they use information about my surfing behaviour. I'm more afraid of the spyware that is after my passwords and such. So for the people who are either on the spyware or not-spyware side, feel free to fight about it here.

Ok, so primarily you don't have to do anything but surf the Internet, for that an hourly commission will be paid to you. A total of 5 hours per month is registered. The Agloco Viewbar will monitor your surfing behaviour and display similair ads(from Agloco partners) according to what potential purchases you could make. Agloco will receive a share of the revenue that is made when you make a purchase from one of their ads, and eventually a share will be returned to the member's account. Without the Viewbar that commission will not be paid. Again, this is optional, not required.

Referring

Agloco also offers the possibility of building a referral network of up to 5 levels deep. There are members who have networks of thousands of referrals. There's not much to say about this subject. You refer people with your custom affiliate link and if someone subscribes he/she becomes part of your network, from which you will generate additional income based on his/her activity.

Owning A Piece Of Agloco

Every hour of surfing time can be converted to 1 share of the company, in the beginning. So you will be able to generate 5 shares a month. You will also receive 0.25 shares for every hour from members in your network. If all of this will be succesfull you can make quite some money on it, if it falls, you lose nothing. That is what I like about Agloco. There's not much to lose, but the time you've put into it.
